Since 2000, Dan Bryson has been an independant CAD consultant in the field of mechanical design. He began work in machining and metalworking in Canada in 1981, becoming a world recognized journeyman tool and die maker in 1985. After 13 years in the hands-on machining field, he recognized the rapid and exciting onset of CAD and the way it would revolutionize the design industry. Mr. Bryson went back to school for engineering studies and also became fluent in several CAD software packages in both 2D and 3D. Re-entering the workforce as a CAD designer, he worked his way up to Senior Mechanical Engineer in a leading microwave radio company. He shares recognition in two patents relating to his mechanical design work of microwave radios. His previous hands-on metalworking experience has benefitted him greatly in his design career, where he continues to design and develop innovative yet simple to manufacture parts, assemblies, tooling and fixturing. Mr. Bryson is familiar with all aspects of manufacturing including precision machining and grinding, stamping, die casting, injection molding and welding. He is an expert in Solid Works and AutoCAD, including import and export to and from the many other software platforms.
In 2005, Mr. Bryson expanded on his CAD expertise to include architectural design and has since become quite proficient at creating building models and photo-realistic renderings for both new and existing interiors, buildings, structures and complete site plans.
